Judy Kay (Hunter) Campbell

Funeral services for Judy Kay (Hunter) Campbell, of Hugo, Okla., were held Aug. 25, 2025 at First Assembly of God in Hugo.

Judy Kay (Hunter) Campbell was born on March 11, 1943 and departed from this world on Aug. 22, 2025, at the age of 82. She was the matriarch of the Campbell family –– fiery and strong-willed until the end.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.A. Campbell; her parents, Pauline and Buck Hunter; all of her siblings (eight brothers, one sister, Patsy); one son, Buddy Campbell; and one grandson.

Judy Kay is survived by numerous children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and close friends whom she considered family –– too numerous to mention.

Services were under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
