Michael Wayne Park

Funeral services for Michael Wayne Park, of Hugo, Okla., will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home Chapel. Michael passed away May 24, 2026, at the age of 63.

Michael Wayne Park, a lifelong resident of Hugo, Okla., was born on Jan. 3, 1963 to Tommy Park and Bonnie (Bryant) Park. He was preceded in death by his father.

Mike was a graduate of Hugo High School, Class of 1981. He married the love of his life, Cindy Morton on June 18, 1982. Mike retired from Pepsico after many years of service as a manager, also serving the community as a firefighter with the Messer Fire Department, which he enjoyed. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and kayaking. Mike loved spending time in Kiamichi Wilderness and watching Dallas Cowboys football. He loved his family beyond measure. Mike is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cindy Park of the home; sons: Kelly Park and wife and Dustin Park and wife of Hugo; daughter, Ashley Brewer and husband of Hugo; eight grandchildren; mother, Bonnie (Bryant) Park; along with a host of family, friends and loved ones. Interment will follow the service at Springs Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Mike Bryant officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
