Raymond Lyndol Cain
Funeral services for Raymond Lyndol Cain, of Hugo, Okla., were held Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025 at Miller & Miller Funeral Chapel. Raymond passed away Feb. 10, 2025, at the age of 86.
Raymond Lyndol Cain was born on Sept. 10, 1938 in Spencerville, Okla., the son of Ray Cain and Velma Sue (Wilkerson) Cain. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kim Stribling-Hunter; a granddaughter; brothers: Larry Cain and Don Cain and sister, Bonnie Bailey Raymond was a lifelong resident of Choctaw County and married his beloved wife, Wanda Goforth Cain in Mount Pleasant, Texas. Raymond was an entrepreneur and owned several businesses along with being a cross-country truck driver. He also was a gravel hauler for the local rock quarries. Raymond loved to collect antiques, hunt, fish and take care of the wild birds in his yard. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him but has left many memories for his family to cherish.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Wanda Cain of the home; his son, Mark Stribling and wife of Paris, Texas; daughters: Rama Cain of Hugo and Gwenda Barath and husband of Hugo; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a greatgreat- grandson; brother, Bobby Cain and wife of Muldrow, Okla., along with a host of friends, family and loved ones.
Interment followed the service at Spencerville Cemetery with Pastor Keith Williams officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
