Ruby Lee (Lang) Maynard, 85, was born on June 30, 1941 in Rufe, Okla., the daughter of Reed Lang and Rosie (Easterwood) Lang. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Albert (Buck) Lang; her husband, Tommy Wayne Maynard; and her daughter, Pamela Keeling.

Ruby married Tommy Wayne Maynard, on June 13, 1959 in Hugo, Okla. Ruby was a devout Christian, and her faith was expressed in how she served others, including those at the Fort Towson Senior Citizen Center every chance she could. In Ruby’s younger years she enjoyed going fishing with her husband and playing cards and dominos with her friends and family.

Ruby loved going and watching her great-grandkids doing what they enjoyed, whether it was playing ball or showing animals. Ruby loved her family and friends with all her heart and enjoyed spending time with them. Ruby, or known by many as Nanny, will always be loved and deeply missed. Ruby is survived by: daughter, Deb Coffey; daughter, Tonya Horton; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Ruth Cosby, Betty Chappell, and Ann Smith; along with a host of family, friends, and loved ones.
