Blanche Nadine Self, age 85, a long-time resident of Hugo, Okla., and a beacon of warmth in her community, passed away peacefully on Feb. 16, 2024 in Hugo. Born on Dec. 30, 1938 in Antlers, Okla., to Delbert Gernand and Laura Edith Jones, Nadine grew up surrounded by love and laughter.
