Contributing Writer SOPER — Soper School has hired Seth Springfield to be their new baseball coach.

Springfield attended Soper School until transferring to Rattan Public Schools for the opportunity to play for Hall-of-Fame Coach Michael Clay.

In 2023, Springfield was an All-State baseball player and won a State Championship with the Rattan Rams.
