Kiowa 12 Soper 8 Soper’s Lady Red Bears’ wonderful season came to an abrupt end in the OSSAA Class B State Quarterfinals at Devon Park in Oklahoma City Thursday. Nerves were apparent “on the big stage.” Once the momentum shifted, they couldn’t comeback and lost to Kiowa, 12-8.

Lady Red Bears headed to STATE!

Contributing Sports Writer The Soper Lady Red Bears are headed to the State softball playoffs. The Class B Regional Champions swept through the regional playoffs with a dominating combined total score of 31-3.
SOPER’S LADY RED BEARS were jubilant after their big Regional Championship victory last week earning them a trip to the State Playoffs! Members of the team include: Hadley Campbell, Emalyn Searles, Morgan Harless, Shy’Anne Wolfe, Makayla Carriger, Kirsten Harless, Alexis Hill, Kobi Rice, Alexia Rouse, Kinlee Carriger, Aubrey Harless, Kaylea Potter, Kabrey Harless, Brinley Williams, Coach Clay Mack and Coach Mark Hammock.

HUGO — The Buffaloes beat Heavener, 43-32 Saturday night to start district play with a win. Hugo is on a three-game winning streak with a 3-1 (1-0) record on the season, and pieces of the puzzle are starting to fall into place.

Achille takes revenge on Lady Scorpions

Contributing Sportswriter The Lady Scorpions beat Achille twice this season and got to host the District Playoffs for the first time in years. On Tuesday, nerves or something took over in the first game as Boswell committed many errors on what had been normal sure handed plays throughout the season, and Achille beat them, 12-2.
