HUGO — Back from an exciting Spring Break Tournament — The Gulf Coast Classic — the Hugo Buffalo baseball team has a better understanding as to what it will take to finish their 2021 spring season strong in post-season play.

A big six-run first inning lifted the Fort Towson Tigers over Bokoshe last week. Booking hits for the Tigers were Dakota Owens, Mikha Thomas, Tristan Pettyjohn and Canyon James.

BRANDON ANDERSON ripped a deep ball to centerfield against Hugo, but the ball was caught to deny Anderson a hit. The Scorpions recorded four hits against Hugo with Zach Ward leading with two singles, followed by Camden Edge and Ethan Beddo each with one hit.

BOSWELL — The Rattan Rams extended their winning streak to six games Monday as they overcame the Boswell Scorpions to post an 11-3 road win. The Scorpions fell behind early and couldn’t come back in an 11-3 loss to Rattan on Monday.

BOSWELL — Down 0-2 at the end of three innings, the Boswell Scorpions never gave up in their battle against Whitesboro and held on for an eighth-inning run to win the game, 3-2. Recording hits for the Scorpions were C.J.
