BOSWELL 11 Rock Creek 2 Boswell’s Brandon Anderson put on a hurling show Monday as the Scorpions faced off against HIghway 70 rival Rock Creek. Anderson threw a no-hitter while Boswell scattered five hits to score 11 runs against Rock Creek.

I have many memorable times of my junior high days in Hugo. We got a quality education, but education went beyond the classroom. In those days if you got in trouble at school, then it became worse at home. That was a long time ago. And, if we were going to fight at school it was expedient to wait until after school and settle it inside the old Frisco Depot. That made more sense than to fight at school and then incur the wrath of Mr. Leonard’s paddle. What a kind, gentle, and strong man.
