The seventh-ranked Rattan Rams baseball team began Regional play this past weekend against 12th-ranked Amber Pocasset. Keegan Robertson pitched six innings in relief, striking out five, walking two and allowing just one earned run off of eight hits.

BUFF PARKER FIELD — In their first District clash of the COVID-marked 2020 football season, the Hugo Buffaloes fell prey to four costly turnovers that the Atoka Wampus Cats were happy to capitalize on... enroute to a 28-12 victory.

Lady Rams sweep Turner in back-to-back wins The Rattan Lady Rams softball team won the Wright City Fall Softball Classic last weekend. The championship games started with a close game against the Turner ladies who were also unbeaten in the 2020 Classic.

KINGSTON — Three games into the 2020 football season, the Hugo Buffaloes were still searching Friday night for an offensive scheme that could move the football down the field. With only a few days to prepare against a solid Kingston Redskins team, directed by former Hugo Buffalo coach Tommy Bare, the Buffaloes’ search for an offense came up woefully short, chalking up no first downs against Kingston and no completed passes for the second week in a row.
