The Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) launched an AI system called SoonerGuide to quickly assist SoonerCare members with questions about eligibility, income guidelines and more. This system will improve SoonerCare members’ experience and help ease wait times that members are experiencing. The system will also free up valuable OHCA staff time to focus on more complex member needs and process eligibility verification more efficiently.

Paris Regional Health has expanded its orthopedic services with the addition of Anterior Approach Total Hip Replacement surgery, offering selected patients another treatment option for hip pain and joint damage.

Alzheimer’s disease can cause a person to act in different or unpredictable ways. Some individuals with Alzheimer’s become anxious or aggressive, others repeat certain questions or gestures. These changes can lead to frustration and tension, particularly between the person with Alzheimer’s and the caregiver.

Kiamichi Tech honored students who recently completed their career training with a graduation ceremony on May 12, at the Hugo campus. ANTLERS –– Seven Practical Nursing students graduated from Kiamichi Tech - Antlers on Thursday, May 7, 2026. According to the program director, Shelly Swalley, Practical Nursing graduates complete 1,508 hours of class time and clinical hours in 18 months and must pass a rigorous exam in order to graduate.
