Clara Sue (Scott) Hearn

Clara Sue (Scott) Hearn, of Muskogee, Okla., passed away July 29, 2025, at the age of 56.

Clara Sue (Scott) Hearn was born on May 5, 1969 in Hugo, Okla., to Columbus “Boo” Eugene Scott and Ruth Ella (Walkup) Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Smithart; sister, Ruby Alford; maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.

Clara lived in the Hugo and Fort Towson areas early in her life and spent many years in Pauls Valley before settling in Muskogee. She graduated from Fort Towson High School, Class of 1987. Clara was a homemaker and loved taking care of her home and family. She enjoyed knitting, reading, cooking, painting, fishing, going to church and taking care of her house plants. Clara had a wonderful gift of humor. She loved creating and sharing jokes, and whenever she was with family or friends, she always had a story or a laugh to share. Her joy in making others smile was one of the many ways she brightened the lives of those around her. She loved her family and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Clara is survived by her husband, Frank Hearn of Muskogee; sisters: Julie Scott, Charlotte Scott, Betty Scott and Janie Sells; numerous nieces and nephews along with many other family members, friends and loved ones.
