Celebration of life service for Cledith Bea Wesley were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, 2021 at the Mt. Olive Funeral Home in Hugo, Okla., with Tommy Wesley officiating. Burial followed at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo. Cledith went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021 in Fort Towson, Okla., at the age of 88.

Cledith Bea Wesley was born Aug. 20, 1932 to Burless Newt “BN” and Mary Ada (Matlock) Roberson, in Sobol, Okla. She married Amos Wesley on July 7, 1950 and she helped him run their ranch in Sobol. They had lived on the west coast where their boys were born, before moving to this area. Cledith loved the Lord and served Him as a minister in the New Hope Tabernacle Church. She loved to fish, working in her garden and cooking. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren. Cledith was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Amos Wesley; two sisters: Polly Hogue and Elaine Roberson; one brother, James Albert Roberson.

Cledith is survived by sons: Kenneth Sam Wesley and wife, Norma of Sobol and Richard Amos Wesley and wife, Donna of Grand Prairie, Texas; sisters: Helen Little of Grand Prairie, Texas, Ruby Hall of Sobol, Gloria Murphy of Bakersfield, Calif., Wilma Roberson of Bartow, Fla., and Liberty Roberson of Bakersfield, Calif.; brothers: Ron Roberson and Gene Roberson both of Bakersfield; grandchildren: Richard L. Wesley of McKinney, Texas, Holly Bartek of Prague, Okla., and Summer Wesley of Sobol; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
