Ruthie Mae (Hall) Smith

Memorial services for Ruthie Mae (Hall) Smith, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Hugo, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Ruthie passed away with her family by her side on Sept. 13, 2024, at the age of 78.

Ruthie was born Oct. 12, 1945 in this area to Mr. George and Emma Hall. She was one of 15 children and was better known to family and friends as Chockie. She was married to Lethel Smith, Jr. for 38 years. Surviving relatives include: Husband, Lethel Smith, Jr.; sons: Ricky Smith and Kelvin Young; daughters: Reva Clark and Leslie Berry; sisters: Evelina Everidge, Ella Akins, Doris Hall and Mary Jefferson.

Bro. Otis Knight will officiate the service, under the direction of Rogan Funeral Home.
