Lady Buffs win two in OKC

Body Hugo News Sports OKLAHOMA CITY — After two wins at the Star Spencer Festival last weekend, the Lady Buffaloes are starting to build momentum. Hugo beat Epic Charter Schools, 35-29 on Friday, followed by a 55-30 win over Star Spencer on Saturday to move to 4-4 on the season.

Buffs go 1-1 at Star Spencer Tourney

Body Hugo News Sports OKLAHOMA CITY — The Hugo Buffaloes went 1-1 at the Star Spencer Festival over the weekend, beating Star Spencer, 73-46 and falling to Classen SAS, 43-31.

Boswell splits with Caney on home court

Fort Towson claims two Ws at Soper

Body SOPER — The Fort Towson Tigers blew into Soper last week and made off with a pair of victories over their cross-county rivals. The Tigers jumped out to a strong first-quarter start, booking 18 points offensively, but Soper wasn’t too far behind scoring 15 of their own.

Holman honored...

Body Jordan Holman, a 2021 graduate of Hugo High School, was named Newcomer of the Week by the Ohio Valley Conference at the end of November. Holman averaged 11.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in the first two games of the season and shot 50% from the field and 75% from behind the arc.
