Body Junior Calista Kelley was one of Hugo’s most consistent and confident shooters last season, and her return to the team in the spring will give the Buffs a big boost. But until then, the Buffaloes need to develop more shooters.

Body Hugo’s season came to an end a week and a half ago, and the Buffaloes have officially entered rebuilding mode. The Buffs are graduating nine seniors in May, many of whom saw significant playing time on both sides of the ball.

Tigers win two over Coleman

Body FORT TOWSON — The Fort Towson Lady Tigers took the lead last week in a home court double-header by defeating the Lady Wildcats of Coleman, 41-24. The boys followed with a significant 64-40 win over Coleman.

Buffs close season with 27-19 win over Valliant

Body Hugo News Sports HUGO — The Buffaloes finished out their season with a 27-19 win over Valliant on senior night. Hugo was dominant for a majority of the game, holding the Bulldogs scoreless until the fourth quarter when penalties and onside kicks got the best of the Buffs.
