INTEGRITY is doing the right thing when everyone is watching and INTEGRITY is doing the right thing when nobody is watching. After all the smoke clears, a coach must trust that he will make the right decisions.

Buffaloes battle Shawnee Bethel but fall short by two, 28-26

Body
HUGO — The Hugo Buffaloes hosted one of District 2A-1’s toughest teams Friday night and from the opening kickoff, they knew they would have to play a stellar game to corral the district’s No. 1 passer, No. 1 receiver and No. 1 running back. They would also have to do that without their starting quarterback, Jayka Santillan, who himself is among the District leaders in both passing and rushing but was sidelined with a shoulder injury.
D’AIRREON JEFFRIES follows his downfield blocker Ja’Mari Scroggins as they cut through the Bethel Wildcat defense for a nice gain for the Hugo Buffalo offense. Also sealing off their blocks are Buffalo offensive linemen Jayse Trantham and Keyshawn Miller. Hugo News Photo / Stan Stamper
