Boswell Public Schools recently received new playground equipment. The equipment is part of a grant. The children absolutely love it! The students burst through the doors and run full blast right to it. When you look out to watch, you can’t help but smile. It looks like ants crawling all over a candy apple.

MUSKOGEE — United States Attorney Brian J. Kuester today announced the results of the August and September 2020 Federal Grand Juries. The combined grand juries returned 32 unsealed and four sealed indictments on crimes ranging from kidnapping, federal firearms offenses, robbery, drug trafficking/distribution, child exploitation, aggravated sexual assaults in Indian country, and murder in Indian country.

Wanda (Walker) Neal was born on Oct. 22, 1943 in Eldorado, Okla., to Bert and Marie (Taylor) Walker. She passed away peacefully at her home on Sept. 18, 2020, at the age of 76. Wanda married William Bailey Neal on Jan. 8, 1960 in Altus, Okla. He preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 2019. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
