Daniel Earl Hulsey, of Lawton, Okla., passed away Sept. 5, 2026, at the age of 21.

Daniel Earl Hulsey was born on Dec. 1, 2004 in Hugo, Okla. He was preceded in death by his grandmother; uncle; and special friend/second dad.

Daniel grew up in Choctaw County, Okla., and later moved to Lawton, Okla., where he has lived for the last five years. There, he worked for Earth One Landscaping and made many lifelong friends through his job.

Daniel found joy in the simple pleasures of life and embraced the things that made him happiest. He enjoyed collecting Legos, gaming, being outdoors, and he especially treasured time spent with his friends and family. Daniel lived a life marked by love, laughter, and kindness. He was a person who made others feel welcome and valued, and his presence had a way of brightening any room he entered. Daniel’s loving nature was evident in the way he treated others. He offered care without hesitation and kindness without expectation. His family and friends knew they could count on him for support and a good laugh. Daniel is survived by his loving family: father, Benny Hulsey; mother, Anna Maria Dunham; sister, Amanda Husley and wife; brothers: Bryce Hulsey and Benny Hulsey II; his beloved cat; an aunt and uncle; special cousins; special friends, along with a host of other cousins, many friends and family.
