ANTLERS — The Antlers Bearcats will face Sperry Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the State 3A Regional tournament. The games will be hosted by Victory Christian, who will face off in the bracket against Adair.

Hugo News Sports Middle School head coach and varsity assistant coach Tanner Trent was named Junior High Coach of the Year for region six by the Oklahoma Basketball Coaches Association last week. Athletic director Darnell Shanklin nominated Trent for the award, saying Trent is deserving of the recognition after three years of hard work he’s put into the program.
