Buffs slam Valliant in tornado-delayed contest, 33-14

VALLIANT — The Buffaloes finished their regular 2022 season at 7-3 after beating Valliant 33-14 last Saturday afternoon. Originally scheduled to play in Valliant on Friday night, Hugo’s game was pushed to Saturday due to devastating severe weather that ripped across Southeastern Oklahoma and Northeast Texas and made finding referees impossible.

Buffaloes aren’t mudders in 0-21 loss

Despite a strong defensive effort from the Buffaloes, Hugo wasn’t able to hold off the Eufaula Ironheads Friday night. The Ironheads beat the Buffs 21-0, dropping Hugo down to 6-3, 4-2 with one game left in the regular season.

Buffaloes offense clicks against Heavener

Hugo News Sports HEAVENER — The Buffaloes’ offense is starting to pick up steam, scoring more than 50 points for the second week in a row. Hugo beat Heavener 62-39 behind a 500-yard performance from its offense to improve to 5-2.
