The Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association (OSSAA) recently released new guidelines allowing high school students to profit from name, image and likeness (NIL). Oklahoma student athletes can now make NIL money without risking their amateur status, according to the OSSAA, but there are still rules as to how they earn that compensation.

Boswell to face Calumet Chieftains

BOSWELL — Fresh off a solid 11-0 shutout over the Stuart Hornets Friday, the Boswell Scorpions will be headed to the State Tournament Thursday in Edmond where they will face the Calumet Chieftains. Kamden Edge surrendered only one hit in six innings on the bump for Boswell and fanned 11 Hornet batters while walking only three.
