Buffs get iced in snow-laced first round

Body PRAGUE — The Buffaloes’ season came to an end Friday night in Prague in the first round of the State 2A playoffs. Hugo suffered a 34-14 loss to the Red Devils to finish the season at 7-4.

8th Grade Buffs win at Antlers

Body Hugo’s eighth grade Buffaloes, coached by Tanner Trent, held on Monday to defeat the Durant Lions by three points (39-36) in the Antlers Tournament. The win will pit them against the Broken Bow Savages on Tuesday and a shot at the tournament finals Thursday night.

Buffaloes aren’t mudders in 0-21 loss

Body Despite a strong defensive effort from the Buffaloes, Hugo wasn’t able to hold off the Eufaula Ironheads Friday night. The Ironheads beat the Buffs 21-0, dropping Hugo down to 6-3, 4-2 with one game left in the regular season.
