RATTAN — The Rattan RAMS have broken loose in the last four games, going on a scoring rampage while their pitching staff has shown no mercy on opposing batters. The RAMS have blistered the bases and home plate as well, plating 67 runs, while allowing ZERO! The last four games have been lopsided shutouts against Haworth, Fort Towson and LeFlore with the last three shutouts coming in District Play.

RATTAN — With six consecutive wins under their belts, the Rattan Rams faced off Saturday against the Wister Wildcats in Rattan. The Rams were able to plate one run in the opening inning and that run would turn out to be the game-decider as Rattan escaped with a scant 1-0 win.

BOSWELL — The Boswell Scorpions came out swinging last week when they squared off against the Fort Towson Tigers on their home field. The Scorpions plated 11 runs in the opening inning, to take a commanding 11-1 lead, and put up a solid 19-1 win.

A new Oklahoma CareerTech program will connect students and employers interested in work-based learning. Get Skilled Now, scheduled to go live in August, will be a free, online platform that will allow CareerTech students and employers to find each other for work-based learning opportunities.

The HHS Lady Buffs basketball team is working hard to raise money for their program this season. David Vann, who’s in his first year as the Buffaloes head coach, has his team out in the community for a variety of fundraisers.

Hugo News Sports When the Buffs took the field Friday night, they knew they were walking into an uphill battle. Beggs — who had yet to play a game this season — finished second in its district last year, losing only two regular season games.
