Larry Orville Tyson, known to his grandkids and many, many other kids as “Pops,” from Soper, Okla., was 73 years old when he gained his wings and met Jesus after being injured in a ranching accident (doing what he loves) on Aug. 8, 2020. Known for his big smile, meaningful hugs and unconditional love, Larry was endeared by his family and many friends. He was a man of immense character, integrity, work ethic, patience and commitment to his family.

Diana Lynn Parker-Butler, of Hugo, Okla., passed away Aug. 23, 2020, at the age of 68. She was born June 24, 1952 in Pasadena, Texas, the daughter of Donald Parker and Sarah “Willie” (Leake) Parker and had lived for the past 12 years in Hugo. Her parents preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Parker, Jr.
