James Jonathan “John” Bacon was born Nov. 20, 1971 in Talihina, Okla., the son of Jimmy Bacon and Mary Jane (Roberts) Bacon and had lived all of his life in Boswell. His parents preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Scotty Bacon; sister, D’Esta Hull, and a grandson.

Burial followed at Springs Chapel Cemetery. John went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, in Plano, Texas, at the age of 61.
