Richard Lynn Payne, Jr. was born on June 14, 1980 in Greenville, Texas, to Richard Payne and Kathie Darlene (Thomas) Woodson. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Freddy Woodson and grandparents. Richard was a graduate of Wolfe City, Texas. He lived in Bethel, Okla., and Greenville, Texas, before moving to Hugo more than 20 years ago. Richard married his beloved wife, Kathy Tucker, on Oct. 30, 2012. He had a big heart and never met a stranger. Richard was a diesel mechanic by trade and enjoyed tinkering with various vehicles. He also enjoyed cooking with family and fishing. Richard loved his animals, especially his dogs. He was a jokester who enjoyed making people smile.
